FACULTY OF GRADUATE STUDIES

Graduate students bring a great deal of energy to the already vital mix of faculty, staff and students that distinguishes Brock University. We look to them as our apprentices in the production and generation of knowledge that characterizes Brock as a flourishing research institution.

At present more than 1,400 full- and part-time graduate students are enrolled in 37 graduate programs located in our six academic Faculties and various interdisciplinary units. Of these students, many are international, predominantly from Asia, but also from Europe, Africa and elsewhere in North, Central and South America.

Brock's graduate programs are notable for their small class sizes and, in most programs, seminars of fewer than a dozen students. Research-intensive graduate faculty members provide quality research opportunities, mentorship and close supervision for their students. Students have access to world-class equipment, facilities and infrastructure.

Brock is expanding its graduate programs with attention to creating innovative learning experiences that are unlike any others in Canada. Our students have opportunities to follow their passion for inquiry and discovery and to contribute their knowledge and skills to changing the world for the better.
