Concerned about the Weather? Here's our simple rule: if Brock University are closed because of snow or bad weather, this seminary will be closed. Likewise, if the local school board closes the public schools because of adverse weather, we will officially close. We will do our best to notify students by e-mail and telephone, but please take responsibility for your own decision whether to drive in bad weather.

Chocolate, Wine, and Roses
Wondering what to do for Valentine's Day? How about an evening of Fine Dining and Music at Hernder's Estate Wines (1607 8th Avenue St. Catharines/www.hernder.com), Friday, 12 February 2010 @ 6:00pm. Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary presents "Chocolate, Wine, & Roses". Musical presentations by CCMA winner and JUNO nominee, vocalist Tara Lyn Hart. Tickets are $30 each for the full event, or $15 each for entertainment only (at 7:30pm). Please contact Linda at the seminary, 905 688-2362 ext. 22, or concordia@brocku.ca, for more details. Reserve your tickets today. There will be a silent auction again this year. If you have anything to donate, please bring your items in to the seminary or contact Linda to arrange for pick up. Items should be at the seminary no later than 5 February 2010.
Advent Appeal (30/11/09)
With John the Baptist and Gabriel stepping onto the Advent scene, Acting President Tom Winger is prompted to consider preachers in the seminary's Advent Appeal Letter. As the time of gift-giving approaches, please remember your seminaries and their ongoing work of preparing preachers to herald the coming of Christ.
2010 Pastor's Desk Diary
With generous financial support from FaithLife Financial, Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary, St. Catharines, is pleased to offer again this year the classic Pastor's Desk Diary. The diary contains readings for the three-year lectionaries used by Lutheran Church-Canada, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, and the Wisconsin Evangelical Synod; as well as the LSB one-year readings for each Sunday and major festivals. The diary is available free to Lutheran pastors and other rostered Lutheran church professionals in Canada through the support of FaithLife.
